Goes to show that no matter how "good" you think
someone is, they most likely are engaging in an act that is morally wrong. It is the yin of yang the yang of yin...no
one can escape it.
Do not lose faith in yourself, however, due to one
monumental failure. Lance did have
cancer and won, Lance did show us that determination, in any form, has its ups
and downs.
Personally, the age of steroid enhancement is a sign of
moral degradation with the ethical conduct of a vulture wrapped in a
butterfly. Our abilities have out grown
our understanding of purpose and this dissolve of growing to understand for
betterment has leaked into children’s minds and will take decades of education
to move away from. While more humans
making mistakes will be exposed by our fellow man, our children watch as good upbringing
takes on a new meaning.
Could Lance have been as successful without the
bio-stimulants? Could anyone riding with
him kept up without bio-stimulants? The
real tragedy here is that the accusers are just as guilty as Lance is, yet we
as a twisted society, turn it into the fault of an individual, while the spin
of society itself brings the cheers on.
Personally, I believe that we should let them take whatever
they want. If legal confines cannot be installed for encouragement and provision,
then teach children that the consequences are far more damaging than the
rewards. Let them see an athlete drop
into convulsion, while the aneurysm grows in the brains interior.
I think I have said
enough, so I will continue on a less socially spun invasion of privacy. I wished people were more interested in suing
companies or sports owners or the doctors that prescribe these enchantments, for good ole fashioned manipulation and relentless
cap mining....But that is another story for another time in our near future.
