It was two days after vacation,
The cafe, a cup of coffee and a meeting.
The president and the vice president,
catching up after the winter break.
"Wait, wait", I said.
"Gentlemen this is not the place."
Too retired to grow men,
Red faced and growling & scratching like kids.
One a retired United States Coast Guard Lieutenant,
The other a past Presbyterian minister with great guidance.
Crawling up each others spines,
Creating havoc in each others' minds.
I looked on and around as we were viewed shocked,
Growing up to feeling not sure why this was again taught.
I simply placed myself between the crossed,
And when that didn't work I walked.
She said,"When you fight the ride, resisting what’s happening at every
turn, your whole being becomes tense and anxiety is your close companion. When
you go with the ride, accepting what you cannot control, freedom and joy will
inevitably arise."
Moo, moo, moo
Yes cattle live an easy life true
Pointing to the struggle not the ease
Understand ebb and flo
Know the truth
Rides are bumpy and stormy
Be True
Be True
"Adversity willing
undergone is the greatest virtue",
"If you
understand what you are doing you're not learning anything."
