He said, "But the etiquette of talking to a phone — more precisely, to a “virtual assistant” like Apple’s Siri, in the new iPhone 4S — has not yet evolved. And eavesdroppers are becoming annoyed."
Well, "not evolved" is the description I would like to comment on....Wake up! Wake up! Technology is and always will have an unpredictable effect on live forms everywhere. From the low frequency, high powered radio waves, to the regression of interaction and misdirection of socialization, gone long by and evolving. Whether we like it or not, evolving from one concept to another 5, one physical attribute to another 10. Does humanity and there intellectuals really believe that we can understand it all, all the time and know how to steer it? How can your really believe that you can control the flow of evolution? Its concept is a monster of Gila's crawlings erratically after every report, its evidence is obviously influencing the concept of technology and its integration of knowledge to Cesarean old behavioral protocols.
I know that starts cryptic and elusive. However...listen people, you need to start paying attention to other people, other than your cell-phone. Your cell-phone will consume you, it will define you. If people were educated enough to understand the fact that the first books were probably seen in such a evolutionary way, you'd begin to see the development of proper behavior that defines humans from all other living things. Overwhelmed by the medias ability to coax you to rush in like the leopard on the hunt, the blue fish on the corral, to be domesticated like, cows or chickens, controlling your popularity, guiding your very choice of style.
So with all this information, we the humans, still try to remain ignorant to the fact that you all can learn, develop and grow all the time and know how your doing it as you do it. However, being rude is just a trend and if you don't learn to be curious then the bureaucracy will take hold and we will be forced to live a

Kirk vs. Picard
Premise: These two Star Fleet captains represent a time of utter tonality and congruence. Thus one must be placed in said mind set for proper realization of to be said comments. Not in a galaxy far far away, no this galaxy the Milky-Way is ours. The long debate of who is the best star ship captain will no longer continue. This is because Gene Roddenberry is deceased and there will never be a true version of his vision again. Then this comment is directed at the debate on StarTrek.com.

If you go with the times and that is the times these
characters existed, the pointless debate of (D) Democrat vs. (R) Republican
would be over. Secondly, these two
personalities complement each other. So there for it is logical to assume you
have no concept of rational thought or behavior if you do not understand this
concept. Kirk is the bully with the
cojones of Conan and the intellect of a hamster. He is head-strong relying on his instincts
instead of Star Fleet protocol. He stands on his laurels much further than
Picard ever could. There is something to be said of the stubborn, never say nay
go getter, who loves tribbles just as
much as the next human.
Then there is Picard, the arrogant soldier of truth and dedication. Blustering with achievements and looking to amend for his former mistakes to better himself and his constituents; stiff and chiseled, but not without fault. Picard did not like tribbles or children for that matter; nor could he stand for “tom foolery” in his presence...no…no. Yet the two of these fine captains would make the dynamic duo of terrormatic brilliance meets calculated courage.
Thus I say nay to both of these stellar Star Fleet captains and pronounce
....dhun...dhun...dhaaaaah...Captain Kathryn Janeway the unofficial winner. Janeway, “There are three things to remember about being a starship captain: Keep your shirt tucked in, go down with the ship, and never abandon a member of your crew.” Enough said, well one more thing...live long and prosper!
